Support the mission
Support public HVAC ownership research
WhoOwnsYourHVAC.org publishes source-linked ownership research about HVAC companies in the markets listed in the directory. Ownership structures can be difficult to trace through company and parent names, so each public record is presented with its available evidence and a way to request a correction. The directory does not rate contractor quality or certify licensing, insurance, or workmanship.
If your organization wants to discuss supporting this research, you can send an inquiry below. An inquiry is not a sponsorship agreement or a promise of placement.
Sponsorship and placement policy
Classifications stay research-based
Payment or participation does not determine an ownership classification. Each listing is based on ownership evidence.
Editorial placement and payment records
The match tool orders records by recorded location and listed service category, with a listed contact method affecting urgent-timeline results; its code does not consult payment data. The Colorado directory code places Independent Power first in the default view and in heat-pump, mini-split, electrification, solar, and boiler views, and first or third in region views. It is also one of the homepage's fixed search suggestions. The available site records do not establish whether an external sponsorship or payment influenced these editorial choices, so we do not claim a paid placement without documentation.
Referral-fee history and payment records
Prior public copy stated that a contractor would pay a referral fee only if a project was completed. The homeowner introduction form is closed to new requests. The public directory has no company-specific paid-placement or referral-fee records and cannot identify which companies, if any, paid or were owed such fees.
Editorial relationship disclosure
Cameron Ferguson is employed by Independent Power as an HVAC Sales & Design Specialist. That employment is disclosed on its listing and where the company is featured. Employment alone is not evidence of sponsorship or paid placement.
Inquiries are not endorsements
A sponsorship conversation does not make a company an ownership source, a recommended contractor, or an endorsed service provider.
